Howdy, folks! Just a quick note here: an essay I did is forthcoming in a book by Dark Scribe Press (if you don't know them, they did a great collection called Unspeakable Horrors - check it out here at http://darkscribepress.com/pages.php?page_id=80). The book is called Butcher Knives & Body Counts: Essays on the Formula, Frights, and Fun of the Slasher Film. It includes 70 - count 'em, 70 - essays critiquing and examining the slasher genre (one of my favorites!) My essay is on the 2006 film Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon.
